The Scope 104 is an all-mountain freeride ski that inspires playful exploration with its energetic core and twin-tip shape. The poplar wood core gives the ski a peppy character with impressive stability. The wood adds torsional rigidity and the pension to pop, creating liveliness in the bumps and jumps. A layer of special thermo-treated plastic, called phenolic composite, provides vibration reduction at high speeds, keeping your legs happy all day long. This composite is also more durable than traditional fiberglass and resin used in ski construction, improving longevity.
At 104-mm underfoot, the Scope provides solid groomer performance, stability in the steeps and decent flotation in fresh snow. A rockered tip and tail provide a fun and loose feel with a quick tail release and easy turn initiation, while camber underfoot keeps you locked in between dynamic carves. During the ski test, we were blessed with an abundance of fresh snow, and one of our testers couldn’t stop raving about the Scope. “It’s very different from anything Liberty has produced in the past. It’s lightweight and also very energetic, giving back the power you put into each turn. It skis well in the bumps, pow and groomers. I CAN’T GET ENOUGH!”
All in all, it’s a versatile daily driver that’s ideal for an intermediate-to-advanced skier looking to explore the resort with an emphasis on effortless turn initiation and a dash of freestyle flair.
