The Best Accessories of 2025

The Best Accessories of 2025

Quality ski accessories are the glue that holds your ski kit together. They provide that little bit of extra comfort or utility that can make or break your day on the hill and once you find that accessory that works for you… It will never leave your ski kit. In honor of these small but powerful items here is a list of our favorite ski accessories of 2025.

Booster Strap

Simple yet reliable, Booster Strap changed the game when it first launched, some 25 years ago. This dynamic powerstrap is an alternative to stock velcro straps that don’t efficiently close the gap between your shin and the tongue of your boot.

Packtalk Outdoor

Relying on spotty cell service to communicate with friends on the mountain is always a roll of the dice. Cardo relieves the frustration with this wireless, hands-free intercom that links with the Cardo Connect App and other Packtalk Outdoor units, allowing you to chat freely with up to 15 friends.

DD TRT12 Liner

The TRT DD12 liner has a dual-density tongue that enables a wide range of motion that’s perfect for touring and telemark boots. This lightweight alternative to stock liners is made of proprietary Intuition Foam, cuff-to-toe, and combines thicker density in the cuff with a softer foam in the forefoot, both of which are heat-moldable for a fully-personalized fit.

Notch Sock

Gordini entered the performance ski sock market last year with the introduction of multiple new technologies, including OrbitKnit. This unique weaving pattern, implemented in all of the brand’s socks, replaces an elastic cuff and compresses without constricting.

Spitfire Pole

A great set of poles is highly underrated and the folks at Leki have taken it upon themselves to improve your skiing experience. Crafted from lightweight and durable aluminum, the Spitfire 3D feels like a natural extension of your body and features small details that most manufacturers don’t consider.

Mountain Heritage Elite Micro Liner Cushion

Designed for an ultra-thin fit, this sock is made from a merino wool blend that includes nylon and spandex for a supportive, compression fit. It’s a minimalist’s dream that provides the warm and dry characteristics of merino wool and promotes better blood flow with its low-profile design.

EVO BT

While you hope to never use it, your transceiver is one of the most important pieces of gear you can own and the Evo BT is a reliable tool when you need to act fast. It features a 60-meter-wide search strip, multiple-burial indicators and a marking function for located victims.

Elyse Saugstad Pro Series Zero Cushion

Elyse Saugstad’s pro model sock from Le Bent is a highly-technical merino wool offering designed to excel in big mountain conditions. Crafted from Le Bent’s signature merino wool blend, this sock rocks at regulating your foot’s temperature, whether you’re hoofing it uphill or bombing the descent.

Link Mini Radio

Communication is paramount for backcountry safety and BCA’s Link Mini provides a compact solution. Each radio weighs in at just six ounces and punches above its weight class with a 2-watt output for clear communication with your partners.

Freerider Pro 32+ SL

This sleek pack is great for backcountry travelers who want the ability to carry all they need, without feeling like they have a monkey on their back. Hidden underneath the main compartment zipper is a roll-top enclosure that keeps moisture at bay and also allows you to expand the pack (hence the “+”).

Patrol E2 38L Avy

The Patrol E2 is a battery-powered airbag designed for backcountry skiers who want advanced protection and storage space for larger missions. The Alpride E2 airbag system inflates using a rechargeable supercapacitor instead of a pressurized canister.

Karl Fostvedt’s Team Poacher RAS Vest

Designed in collaboration with Dakine athlete “Crazy Karl” Fostvedt, the Poacher RAS Vest combines all the best storage and safety elements of a backcountry pack and offers them in a slim and maneuverable profile.

Mini 15+ Reactor

The Mini 15+ Reactor airbag is designed with the safety-conscious minimalist in mind and is perfect for quick sidecountry laps or cat/heli-assisted skiing. Weighing in at just 5.16 pounds, including the refillable steel cartridge (sold separately), this pack adapts to all body types with its 3D-Fit technology and nicely-padded back panel.
