Breckenridge beats out Park City for “World’s Longest Shot Ski” title

After catching word that Park City, Utah had earned the Guinness World Record for the “World’s Longest Shot Ski” in October, the people of Breckenridge, Colorado recently gathered together with a whole lot of whiskey and optimism.

A whopping 1,234 people showed up to rip a 1,997-foot shot ski, filled with Hot Box Mountain Shot, a cinnamon whiskey that kept everyone nice and warm on historic Main Street. This effort topped Park City’s 1,191 participants, who utilized a 961-foot shot ski filled with beer. (Dang you, Utah alcohol laws.)
