Help fund All Together Skatepark, Seattle’s only indoor skatepark

Seattle is a hot-bed for the action sports community, whether it be skiers, snowboarders, wakeboarders, or skateboarders. Seattle is also a very rainy city, causing many a skateboarder to have to hide indoors. All Together Skatepark, LLC (ATS) is seeking to alleviate that problem with what will be Seattle’s only indoor skatepark, located in the Fremont area of the city. ATS hopes to raise $35,000 to build the skatepark, and so far they’ve raised $10,559. To help fund the ATS campaign click here. Here are the details from ATS themselves:

History: The future location of All Together Skatepark, LLC. (ATS) is in Fremont in what used to be Inner Space—the last indoor skatepark in Seattle. Inner Space, founded in 2003, was once a popular and beloved gathering place for the Seattle skateboard scene. Unfortunately, Inner Space was shut down in February of 2012 due to its inability to bring in enough revenue to keep it open. Many have been hoping and speculating about the opening of this space for Seattle skateboarders, and the time has finally come!

The Project: Skateboarders need an indoor park to call home in Seattle because let’s be honest—it rains a lot here. We are creating a fun, friendly and positive skateboarding experience for all ages with a focus on creating strong connections with youth. Together with our community and our industry we are building the only indoor skate park in Seattle. The perfect balance lies at the intersection of building community, creating a positive place for skateboarders of all ages, and driving sales of companies that get behind the park both near and long term. By helping launch ATS, we have an opportunity to create a movement setting an entirely new bar in the industry.

The Goals: Fundamentally the goal of this Indiegogo campaign is to open a positive and engaging indoor skatepark that will speak to the spectrum of those in and outside the Seattle skateboard community. ATS is planned to launch after a successful campaign in October of this year just in time for the rainy season.
