It’s never an easy adventure for Nikolai Schirmer. The ski content mastermind seems to stay scheming for incredible missions. Sometimes it’s his own idea, and sometimes it’s brought to him by friends. After all, it’s who you know that matters. In this epic voyage, mountain guide Tom Grant dials up Schirmer to pursue some insane lines in Chamonix, France. To ski a line like this is remarkable, and to be able to do so as early in the season as December is even more wild.
Great snow towards the end of 2023 provided for the crew. A proper 3 a.m. wake up, skin from the valley floor and hearty boot pack up the mountainside; now that’s one hell of a day.
