GoPro unlocked a host of all-new features that will raise the performance, capabilities and convenience of its HERO4 Black and HERO4 Silver cameras. All users have to do is run a quick software update on their HERO4 POV cams and boom, you’re cookin’ with oil. You’re welcome.
GoPro’s software update includes the following:
- Time Lapse Video Mode – Capture Time Lapse videos automatically – no post production needed. Showcase a badass sunrise or epic pow turns as a short, sharable video.
- 30/6 Burst Photo – Never miss a moment by capturing 30 photos in six seconds. This new burst mode is perfect for fast action activities like mono-skiing.
- Auto Rotate – This mode automatically adjusts capture orientation to right-side up when the camera is mounted upside down.
- Add HiLight Tags during playback – Mark key moments while recording video and playing back content on the built-in touch display to quickly find highlights for easy editing and sharing. [HERO4 Black requires LCD Touch BacPac to utilize this feature].
- Additional upgrades on the HERO4 Black include:720p240 fps video and 2.7K60 fps video.
