With colder temperatures and snow dusting Colorado’s Front Range, it’s no surprise that some folks are already out skiing. Take Pat Astarita, for example. This Denver-native caught the sunrise atop Loveland Pass this morning before billy goating some turns at 11,990 feet above sea level. “Just enough floating right over the rocks going left and right,” Astarita said to reporters. Arapahoe Basin and Loveland Ski Area are typically the first resorts to open in Colorado, often in mid-October.
