The Freeride World Tour goes off at the “Dream Stop” in Haines, Alaska

The “dream stop” of the Freeride World Tour just went off, with skiers going full-throttle down the massive terrain in Haines, Alaska. The second to last stop of the tour, the competition in Haines was of high importance to those hoping to win the title of Freeride World Tour Champion.

In the end, Loïc Collomb-Patton took home the gold on the men’s side, followed by Léo Slemett and Sam Lee. That puts Collomb-Patton, Slemett, and Kristofer Turdell—who crashed during his run and did not podium—in an unprecedented three-way-tie for the overall first place spot in the tour. On the women’s side, Arianna Tricomi finished first with Lorraine Huber and Eva Walkner rounding out the podium.
