Shawnee Peak is officially cooler than you are.

Saturday Oct. 20th Shawnee Peak and Joe Jones fired up the traaaahhk (thats Maine for Truck), hauled some of that beautiful brown ice arena snow, dragged in a couple boxes and gathered a crowd. Already pulled in for the Portland Ski Expo at the Expo Center next to Hadlock field the headphones, flourescents and urban ballerness prevailed. My counting skills not being what they used to be I would hazard a guess that there were.. ..alot of kids in the parking lot. The Peak C Box lurked beside a flat box setup drop ramp style. Fun was had by both skiers and snowboarders (keep reading) and prizes were awarded just as the sun began to dive through the trees.
