King of Quarters – Better late than never?

King of Quarters – Better late than never?

We posted the video and photos near minutes after the event ended, but forgot to put a story up linking them all together. My bad.

But anyway, here they are. Important things to note:

– Simon Dumont went HUGE on all his hits, coming close to setting the world record. He stomped a couple 5s 30 feet out (legitimately 30, not jump-o-meter 30), but decked out on his last one, taking him out of the event and injuring his shoulder.

– Tanner Hall won because he stomped the crap out of all his tricks perfectly. Pretty typical.

– Scott Hibbert threw a bunch of double backs and somehow managed to find his feet a couple times, but never really rode away perfectly. Hibbert: still got it. I’ll see you up on top of the quarter at the next event, too.

– The quarter pipe was beautiful. It was huge, well-shaped and popular among competitors. Pretty rare for a quarter pipe, so it was nice to see.

That’s it, really. Check out the media.
