Black Diamond Equipment just announced the launch of a three-episode web series, dubbed BDTV, set to drop on September 27. The series will focus on the personalities of ski mountaineers, avalanche forecasters and local legends that make up what Black Diamond deems to be the “soul” of backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering. Each installment of the series will be accompanied by photographs from Mattias Fredriksson, who says about BDTV, “Most times when it comes to skiing and other action sports, the action generally takes over. But with BDTV, the story is first.”
