The second-to-last month of the 2024/25 GoPro Line of the Winter competition was one for the books. With $5K on the line for a single female and male favorite each month with the chance for an additional $10k for the overall comp winner—it’s not the time to take it easy. This is arguably our favorite month of the competition as athletes are really being pushed to their boundaries, and the storms are plentiful around the northern hemisphere.

The winner of the male skier category this month is none other than Karl Fostvest. Our jaw was on the floor when he released this to the world; the pillows just kept on coming. Crazy Karl’s backcountry big line prowess is on full display here as he surfs his way down this treasure of a line in British Columbia. Is this the longest pillow line of all time? We will let you be the judge.

The women’s March winner is none other than Lovisa Rosengren, who takes us on a ride down a backcountry line in Lyngen, Norway. This line is breathtaking, with an endless expanse of mountain tops and ocean in the background and perfect snow conditions. What’s even more breathtaking is the way Rosengren dances through the exposure at the top of the couloir before taking a dive toward the fall line and stepping on the gas pedal. I mean, what more could you want?
