May 17th at Arapahoe Basin played host to Jiberish Clothing’s second annual party “Big Up at the Basin.” We throw this party each year at the end of the ski season as a “thank you” to all of our friends, family, and supporters.
The party was a big step from last year in terms of beers and food. The 4 kegs of Flying Dog were drained by mid afternoon by a thirsty crowd enjoying the bluebird day at the basin. Our culinary expert, Chef Cian, whipped up gourmet slider burgers with homemade ketchup, potato salad, BBQ tofu. The party buzz held strong throughout the day with the band DropCity as an opener, and then DJ Uplifter taking over the reigns in the afternoon. Uplifter laid down a mix of hiphop/reggae beats for the ever growing crowd.

Many of the Jiberish fam was in attendance including Tom Wallisch who was slaughtering the park while wearing a sling on his arm . Mike Clarke was also on snow while coming back from an injury, but he had the power of Pokemon on his fanny pack. Also in attendance were Keri Herman, Matt Walker, Ben Wiltse, Stephen Smith, Tanner Rainville and Dave Lesh.
