100% Pure New Zealand Games begin August 13

The 100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games will be taking over New Zealand’s Southern Alps between August 13-18.

Nearly 1,000 athletes representing 50 nations will compete in 38 snow and ice sports, including freeski slopestyle, halfpipe and big air. Other events on the roster include ski racing, curling, snowboarding, and skating, as well as adaptive snow sports.

Six days, 38 events, 22 sports, 1,000 athletes, 50 nations and an audience of millions – welcome to 100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games. The world’s top snow and ice sports athletes will descend upon New Zealand’s Southern Alps and take on the best in ski racing to curling, snowboarding to skating as well as adaptive snow sports.
