That’s right, they are at it again. 2009 is here, and the Galvanic crew is packing up the Tour bus and hitting the open road to bring you round two of the Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour. With the first event right around the corner, the Galvanic Crew has officially landed in Tucson and commenced their plans for total shred domination. Keep an eye out for the Tour bus and crew as they roam the streets of Tucson mingling with everyone from dirty transients to trust fund babies. Feel free to say hey, slap high fives, barter for precious stones, or buy them drinks as they prepare for the event.
The Tour will kick off its first stop at the University of Arizona in Tucson on February 5th. The crew will be hauling in 20 tons of snow, along with rails, boxes, and bonks to the middle of campus at the UA Mall to host an urban rail jam open to amateur snowboarders and skiers. With three new custom features built by shred genius Tony Distrola from Eclipse Snow Park, the setup is gnarlier than ever and ready to be annihilated.
With support from Cricket Wireless, FUEL TV, Snowboarder Magazine, Freeskier Magazine, Red Bull, Omatic Snowboards, Boone Skis, Spyder and others, 2009 is going to be a year to go down in the books. The Tour is partnering with the UA Elevation Ski and Snowboard Club, to kick things off with a killer first event at the UA Mall to the beats their own DJ Kid Couture. The Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour will be disrupting class through May, with the nation’s top shreds gunning for thousands of dollars in prizes. The five best in class from each stop will receive an invite to battle it out for a heavy cash purse at the Cricket Campus Rail Jam Tour Finals in downtown Portland, Oregon on May 30th.
