Skier Alex Hall defies the laws of physics in his 2017 season edit

Slopestyle shredder and big air maestro Alex Hall grew up in Switzerland, but calls Park City, Utah, home. He first made a splash in the skiing scene in 2015 when he earned two top-ten finishes at AFP Platinum-level events—competing against the big guns. Today, he’s a U.S. Olympic hopeful and he’s also globe-trotting with his sponsor, Faction Skis, bagging film clips and generally inspiring stoke everywhere he roams; I experienced this first-hand in April of this year when I ventured to Verbier, Switzerland, with Hall and co. to observe the making of Faction’s new team film, This is Home.

Here, we see all of Hall’s highlights from the film (plus extras that didn’t make the cut) packaged into a 2017 season edit. He performs an assortment of impressive stunts from Finland to Switzerland to the Czech Republic. In the latter location, Hall truly defies physics (4:30 mark) when he initiates a cork 360, yet contorts his body in such a manner as to only complete a cork 180.

Enjoy, folks!

And hey, p.s. Faction is giving away a trip to Verbier, Switzerland right now. Hurry, the contest ends soon.
