The wild and thriving ski scene out across the pond is fueled by a multitude of heavy hitting rippers. From France to Norway and everywhere in between, you’ll find passionate skiers looking for great snow and an equally as riveting après scene. While there are so many to pick from, one of the most fun loving crews out there has to be the fellas at Keep The LINE. Think of them as the French counterpart to the U.S.-based Traveling Circus. It would seem that just about anywhere there’s a creative, badass, goofy ski culture, you’ll find Line. The pattern is evident with this crew, as there doesn’t seem to be any weather, feature or other obstacle that can get in their way. For proof, we invite you to visually inspect the Greece segment of their full throttle film, “Brune Out.”
With the lifts not spinning due to Covid at the end of last season, but the itch to ski growing strong, a couple days of tenting and hiking in the French mountains was the chosen option. As a disclaimer before you view, you should aware that camping with Keep The LINE is not your momma and poppas camping trip. Be prepared for bonfires, axe throwing, homemade camping stoves, music playing, group dancing and the gooiest fondue east of the Seine river. Only the essentials are brought: headlamp, portable cups, sub-zero sleeping bag, katanas—duh. Open faces shmeared up like butter on a fresh baguette, getting wild on beautifully sculpted booters and other majestic skiing can be expected during this four-day excursion. Keep The LINE always keeps it loose and lit, so join the crew for one hell of a winter camping experience.
