There is no better style-minded ambassador to skiing than Joona Kangas. The Finnish fiend is one of the most dazzling riders around, having honed his skills under the lights at Ruka and beyond. He blends smooth technicality with creativity. He makes it look easy, but if it were, everyone would do it.
A fantastic representation of his freeride & freestyle capabilities can be seen in his full segment from the should-have-won-an-oscar film, “Keeshlife Movie 2.” The team created several large kickers throughout the backcountry, each with different features that bring a new element. Three minutes of heat. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing more action from Kangas this year, but if you’re in dire need of some, be sure to check out his incredible riding at this year’s Jib League.
