Jake Mageau and Brady Perron have dropped the trailer for their second film with Level1. ‘Something in the Water’ is the duo’s follow up film to their 2021 masterpiece, ‘Freehand’. With a beautiful blend of street, park, and backcountry skiing, the film appears to be yet another classic from two of the industries finest.
It’s a combination too perfect to make up. Brady Perron has been creating along side some of the best skiers around, progressing the very idea of what a short ski film, or a ski film in general, can be. His passion bleeds through the lens, as his projects are original as the man himself.
Jake Mageau has been following a similar path in front of the camera. His prolific skiing has gained well earned attention in the pervious years, landing him spots on the teams of ON3P and 686. His creativity on the sticks is an ideal counterpart to Brady’s hypnotic style of documenting. Simply put, it’s a combination you’re bound to enjoy.
From Level1 – As their follow up to last year’s “Freehand”, Jake Mageau and Level 1 proudly present “Something In The Water”, a short film directed by Brady Perron. Coming to the Level 1 YouTube this fall.
