Nimbus Independent just released the first episode of its three part video series Compass. In the words of Nimbus Independent, the series aims to capture the “contrasting culture, mountain shape, terrain, snow quality, food, language, music, pace of life and architecture all play into what it feels like to ski and travel abroad.” This is certainly evident in the initial episode, titled Russia, as the first two minutes of footage details impressive buildings, statues and faces, before diving head first into some deep powder skiing with Eric Pollard, Chris Benchetler and Max Anufrikov.
