Tanner Hall loves weed, plain and simple. Whether it’s his appearance with High Times, his appropriately numbered Instagram handle (@TannerHall420), his affinity for Rastafarian jams and culture, his aspiration to develop his own strain of chronic, a “plant-themed” tattoo adorning his chest, the use of the cheeba to enhance his skiing, etc., marijuana plays a large part in the Ski Boss’ everyday life.
Now, T-Hall is free to roll joints using papers emblazoned with his own likeness. Hall has partnered with Black Rock Originals to release “The Ski Boss Collection,” a 420-kit fully equipped with rolling papers, a lighter and weed grinder, each boasting the Ski Boss logo. In all seriousness, Hall’s brand of skiing has lead to numerous injuries throughout the legend’s career, and he relied upon the ganja to ease much of the pain associated with those injuries after a brief battle with painkiller dependency.
“There’s so many smokers in skiing and snowboarding, they finally can have a brand they can identify with, that actually wants to work with athletes,” explains Hall. Black Rock co-founder Tommy Joyce adds, “The partnership occurred organically. Our brand is focused on debunking the lazy stoner stereotype and Tanner has been poking holes in that misconception for decades.”

Press Release:
Black Rock Originals, the cannabis industry’s premier brand for cannabis adventurers, is pleased to announce the sponsorship of legendary professional skier Tanner Hall. This partnership represents the first official relationship between cannabis and active professional athletes.
Hall had been seeking the right cannabis brand to partner with for a pro model smoking kit, and the time has finally come. “There’s so many smokers in skiing and snowboarding, they finally can have a brand they can identify with, that actually wants to work with athletes” says Tanner, a freeskiing pioneer and 7-time X-Games Gold Medalist who has been using cannabis to fuel his success for years. After countless brutal injuries, Hall has opted out of traditional painkillers for the more natural alternative, incorporating cannabis into his skiing, training and recovery regimens.
“The partnership occurred organically,” says Tommy Joyce, Black Rock’s Co-Founder. “Our brand is focused on debunking the lazy stoner stereotype and Tanner has been poking holes in that misconception for decades.”
All of the products were created to suit Hall’s preferences. The Tanner Hall SKIBOSS collection features everything you’ll need to roll a joint, fits neatly inside Black Rock’s signature Safety Case, and can be purchased for $14.95.
