This just in: Due to recent warm temperatures affecting snow conditions across greater British Columbia, Red Bull’s Cold Rush event will be postponed until March 23-26. The premier big mountain ski event makes its debut at Revelstoke Mountain. Red Bull’s decision to re-schedule the event was made With safety as the major priority.
“Recent warming has impacted our venues in remote areas of the mountain over the last few days, Says Scott Jewett, the National Event Manager at Red Bull. “Safety for athletes and delivering a premium, progressive ski contest are our ultimate goals for Red Bull Cold Rush. Unfortunately, current conditions will not allow for either.”
Cold Rush will feature athletes such as Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Sean Pettit, Dane Tudor, Sammy Carlson, Kye Petersen, Wiley Miller, Richard Permin, Joe Schuster, Tatum Monod, Michelle Parker, Ingrid Backstrom, Grete Eliassen, and more.
