Put over a thousand people in one room, give away a ton of free gear, show the world premiere of Level 1’s “Eye Trip”, and an epic time is pretty much guaranteed. This past Friday, Cervantes Theater in Denver, CO sold out and played host to the world premiere of Eye Trip and a cluster of musical performances from musicians such as Egadz, Matt Walker, Berryhill and Flesher of Robotic Pirate Monkey.
The night kicked off with Egadz providing some electronic beats while Level 1 athletes Mike Hornbeck, Willey Miller, Liam Downey, Parker White, Chris Logan, Duncan Adams and Ahmet Dadali signed posters.
Following some solid music and poster signings, Level 1 made many youngsters happy with a raffle that included new Orage and Spyder outerwear, Skullcandy headphones, Scott products, Spy goggles, Fat-ypus skis and tons more.
After all the gear was given away, Level 1 founder, producer and director Josh Berman got on the mic and introduced the new movie to a rowdy crowd. The film did not disappoint, full of energy from beginning to end. Ahmet lit up the screen with an impressive opening segment, Josh Bibby provided comic relief throughout the film, and newcomers like Parker White left the crowd drooling over possibly some of the largest front flips ever. Level 1 has once again created an epic film consisting of unbelievable urban, breathtaking big mountain and massive park shoots.
Immediately following the film Walker, Berryhill and Flesher took to the stage and kept the party going. The night was a huge success and Level 1 gave everyone who came the “Eye Trip” that they were looking for.
