Trevor Kennison joins the SPY Optics athlete team

Trevor Kennison became a household name in the ski industry after his legendary sit-ski send into Corbet’s Couloir two years ago. Kennison was the first-ever sit-skier to launch into the famed in-bounds run at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and his stomped landing drew the attention of the skiing community and beyond.

Since then, he’s acquired sponsorships from GoPro, Leki, Eddie Bauer, Phunkshun Wear, High Fives Foundation, New Belgium Brewing Company and is working on a two-year film project with Josh Berman of Level 1 Productions. As of this week, Kennison has also landed a spot on the athlete team for SPY Optics.

“Couldn’t be more stoked to join the @spyoptic family and to know that I’ll be lookin’ fresh all year long in the best goggles and shades out!” wrote Kennison in an Instagram post. Now on the SPY athlete roster, Kennison joins the ranks of industry legend Tom Wallisch, big-mountain skier Wiley Miller, freestyle maestro Phil Casabon and others.
