The Meeting isn’t a typical conference. It’s a meeting of the minds in one of the most beautiful mountain destinations in North America. Bringing together action sports, media, business and technology representatives from a wide variety of backgrounds, the annual summit, held in Aspen, Colorado, provides a unique chance for people to connect and share ideas on an array of topics.

Starting today, Wednesday, October 3, the program—which is open to the public—runs through Saturday evening, culminating in a film festival with screenings of Level 1 Productions’ Zig Zag, Matchstick Productions’ All In and more. This year’s guest speakers include Chris Cunningham, co-founder of the fast-growing 360-degree camera company, Rylo; Carolyn Coyne, Global Lead of Facebook Creative Shop; Malcolm Sangster, producer at Sherpas Cinemas; Vice President of XGames, Tim Reed; and professional skier and adventurer, Chris Davenport.

After a morning’s worth of interesting panel discussions and keynote presentations, The Meeting brings its attendees into the Elk Mountains for activities like mountain biking and hiking through the Lost Forest. The fresh air is invigorating and the conversations that carry over from the conference room create a sense of camaraderie that’s hard to replicate. In the words of Aspen Snowmass: “The Meeting is a gathering in the mountains designed to inspire an interactive atmosphere of do-ers, think-outside-the-box-ers, creatives, influencers, strategists, entrepreneurs and leaders who want to network in an environment that ignites new ideas and cultivates old ones.”
