Taking a brief respite from the Jon Olsson Super Sessions, the boys entered the perennial Norwegian Big Air extravaganza known as the Sweet Rumble. Talent from all over the world descended on Trysil and THREW THE HELL DOWN to try and make finals. I’ll cut to the chase. There were bunch doubles thrown and the finalists are definitely carved out of stone.
In the end, it was PK Hunder who prevailed over everyone, lowing over Ian Cosco, Jon Olsson and eventually Russ Henshaw in a 3-jump SUPER FINAL to take home the prize and prestige, and probably a few ladies later tonight. PK dropped dub 1260, switch 1260 and pimp 1080 to take it to Russ in a best of three final. PK and Russ beat out Jon Olsson and Jacob Wester, who both tied for 3rd, but are first in our hearts.
Under the lights and over a massive crowd, PK, Russ and all the competitors put on quite the show for a huge crowd. Tomorrow the whole JOSS show is off to Ã…re for part II of the JOSS, culminating with the JOI big air and the JOSS Awards next weekend.
