Day four in Ã…re started off so promising. With a mix of sunshine and clouds, the hip session was set to start at 2 o’clock this afternoon, but Mother Nature had other plans, which included clouds, flat light and rain, effectively shutting down any jumping today, leaving the teams with a rest/urban day. Teams are scurrying about Jamtland finding urban features, Team Canada went to session the gap to down box in the Jib Garden. Ian Cosco and Justin Dorey tried their hands at the big ol’ gap to pretty flat box, hiking even as the rail started to come down.
Most teams are welcome of a bit of rest, as they’ve been burning the candle on both ends. On a positive note, Jon Olsson sent out a text message saying that the step up on the mountain is completed ready to be sessioned as soon as the weather cooperates. So get ready for some more giant-feature-getting-slayed-by-the-best-in-the-world photos and story here in the neat future.
