Skiing at Red Lodge Mountain, located on Montana’s southern border with Wyoming, means enjoying the pure and simple aspects of the sport. It like going back in time, in a good way, with great skiing and a laid-back, unpretentious attitude—even when the snow falls. In February alone, Red Lodge Mountain, which offers 2,400 feet of vertical and over 1,600 acres of terrain, received nearly eight-and-a-half feet of fresh snow, and there was plenty to go around. In the gallery, below, take a look back at one of the resort’s snowiest months of the season featuring powder shots galore. This is just a snippet of the skiing experience at Red Lodge Mountain—you gotta get there to see if for yourself.
