FREESKIER’s Music in the Mountains concert tour made it’s second stop this weekend in Steamboat Springs with a performance by Big Something during the WinterWonderGrass festival. Hailing from North Carolina, the band brought with them a rocking, jam-filled performance that had the crowd grooving through the entire evening.
During the set break, FREESKIER’s Sam Taggart took to the stage to rile up the audience with gear giveaways, including product from Sweet Protection, Armada, Zeal, Level Gloves and custom hats from Ski Town All-Stars, as well as two pairs of skis and a pair of tickets to next year’s Winter On The Rocks concert from Icelantic. Celebrating the community that came to dance, these giveaways were just a small gesture of thanks to everyone who came out; the real celebration was the amazing show that Big Something brought to Steamboat.
