Every year hundreds of photographers from around the globe send their best skiing photos to FREESKIER. This year, over 29,000 snaps were submitted, sorted and considered for Volume 17, yet, only a fraction of those photos made the cut. If they do not grace the cover or support a story within the magazines’ pages, the images are reserved for our mag gallery dubbed EPICS. They are shots that literally make us “ooh” and “ahh” and bring only one adjective to our minds: epic!

September through February, we have slowly released these images inside the pages of our magazine. Now we have combined them into one astonishing gallery. Get ready for some of the best shots of the year—this is the V.17 EPICS gallery.
