The Sochi Olympic Games are fading in the rearview mirror, and with the Olympic discussion more or less tabled for another few years, X Games is once again recognized as the pinnacle event in the freeskiing world (mostly). I was excited to be on-site in Aspen this week. It was not my first time to X Games, nor was it my first time covering X, but it certainly was the most progressive, exciting, and rewarding go-round for me. Every event brought something different and experiencing the top-notch production first-hand is always a reminder of X Games’ great impact on the growth of the sport.

I shot almost 5,000 photos this week, and today I have narrowed down my favorite action, portrait, and event photos of the 2015 Winter X Games.
