There are few resorts left in the U.S. of A still spinning lifts. Mammoth Mountain and Beartooth Basin are both open for business well into June, and another ski area just announced they’ll also be keeping the party alive for a bit longer.

Arapahoe Basin has extended its 2025 ski season until June 15, adding a bonus weekend of skiing. Lifts will be open from 8:30 AM until 2:00 PM. Those same hours of operation apply to this weekend at A-Basin as well.

The famous Lake Reveal has also made an appearance, and eager riders can make their way down under the Lenawee Lift for a pond skim. Located to the skier’s left of the chairlift in the photo above, it’s one of the only opportunities for anyone to come pond skim. No registration needed, just keep your speed and watch out for others!

The resort confirmed that June 15 will mark the official closing day, with weather forecasts limiting any future extensions. That means the last days of the season at A-Basin will be this weekend (6/6 – 6/8) and next weekend (6/13 – 6/15) as the ski area is not spinning lifts during the weekdays, only Fridays through Saturdays.

Terrain is certainly limited, but well worth it. You can ski top to bottom with the Black Mountain Express and Lenawee lifts serving up prime time corn skiing. Tickets are still available, so what are you waiting for? Get it while you can.
