Colorado Opening Day Preview

Colorado Opening Day Preview

Here’s a quick look at scheduled opening dates in Colorado for 2008. As you already know Loveland and A Basin are currently open, and Copper Mountain has moved their opening day up one week (could someone please tell the mountain ops guys that one additional week of skiing on man made snow at the start of the season isn’t nearly as good as catching April powder days at the end of the winter! If you are adding an extra week to the season, do it at the end of the winter, when the base is deep, the whole mountain is skiable and sneaker Rocky Mountain storms make for epic late season days)
