1/15 | Bud Light Cowboy Downhill at Steamboat, CO
Ever been to a rodeo on snow? The 49th annual Cowboy Downhill at Steamboat Springs is one of the weirdest events (in a good way) of the year. 100 professional cowboys ski down a dual slalom course, go over a jump, lasso a person, saddle a horse and cross the finish line. Where do we sign up?
1/17 | United Way Day at Wolf Creek Ski Area, CO
Score $77 adult full-day lift tickets at Wolf Creek on January 17 only! A portion of ticket proceeds are used to support the United Way of Southwest Colorado’s partners and projects in Archuleta County.
1/20 | La Sportiva 12-Hours of Sunlight at Sunlight Mountain Resort, CO
We all love a little type-two fun, so why not spend 12 hours skinning up a mountain and racing to the bottom?
1/16 – 1/21 | LAAX OPEN at LAAX, Switzerland
Europe’s most prestigious snowboard contest opened its doors to freeski last winter. At Crap Sogn Gion mountain at 2,425 ft, 300 riders from all over the world will compete in front of the impressive 360° mountain panorama at the FIS World Cup in mid-January.

2/3 – 2/10 | Kings & Queens of Corbet’s at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, WY
It’s the 7th anniversary of our favorite hucking event, and it’s a stacked roster.

In need of a classy night on the mountain? Trying to impress your hinge date? This fittingly named event at the Frisco Nordic Center features candle-lit skiing, bonfires, snacks and drinks.
2/10 | Lifts of Love at Mount Norquay Ski Resort, Banff, Alberta
We’ve all fallen in love on a chair lift before… so why not do it on purpose this time? Norquay’s chairlift speed dating event is aptly timed so you can score a valentine before the big day.
2/23 – 2/25 | Arc’teryx Backcountry Academy at Whistler, BC
Multi-venue live music, film premiers and, of course, top-notch guided backcountry clinics for all levels. Aw yeah!
3/1 – 3/3 | FIS Men’s World Cup at Aspen, CO
Aspen Snowmass welcomes the best international alpine racers as they compete in slalom and giant slalom at the Stifel Aspen Winternational.
3/16 – 3/24 | Tomorrowland Winter at Alpe d’Huez, French Alps
Tomorrowland returns to sunny Alpe d’Huez in 2024 for the fourth edition of Tomorrowland Winter. High up in the beautiful Alps, festivalgoers from around the globe band together for a weekend of live music with a side of skiing.
3/29 | Boot Tan Fest at Glenwood Springs, CO
