Nightstick 104
Fischer
$699.99
When Fischer adjusted their Ranger line to be more directional and less freestyle-oriented, they were left with a bit of a void in the roster. Enter the Nightstick 104—a supremely playful and surfy weapon that speaks to the freestyle skier in all of us.
The Nightstick features a full wood core that produces a soft and consistent flex, conducive to schmearing butters, ripping switch and throwing spins. To exacerbate its freestyle prowess, Fischer implements Air Tec construction, which involves milling out 25 percent of the core, lowering the swing weight enabling a nimble feel while retaining stability. This lighter core also leads to better pow-surfing on dreamy days.
One of our testers noted, “The Nightstick 104 brought a smile to my face after a short hike above Vail’s Game Creek Lift. Effortless float in the fresh snow while delivering enough pop in the tails to send you into the air. Our day consisted of in-bounds pow-slashing and side-hit-crushing fun. This ski delivered an incredibly playful approach to the mountain.”
It’s those little details that make the Nightstick 104 a big-mountain, freestyle slayer. A special fiberglass makeup and full ABS sidewall make the ski so durable its almost asking you to stomp huge tricks and push trick progression. A freestyle plank for the skier who strives to progress their off-piste abilities, the Fischer Nightstick 104 won’t let you down.
