This article is part of FREESKIER’s First Look—giving you a sneak peek at the best gear and technology for Winter 2023-24. Below is a glimpse into Peak Skis’ lineup for next year.
KeyHole Technology™ allows for boosted on-trail/off-trail versatility
Two sheets of titanal offer high speed stability
New nose and tail shape
Peak 88
Designed for those who spend 70 percent of their time on groomed or skier-packed snow, the 88 effortlessly carves a tip to tail turn and has the guts to hang on hardpack. But it’s not just a pure frontside ski. KeyHole Technology™ makes the shovel of the ski more compliant when you’re skiing the fall line off trail or navigating bumps.
KeyHole Technology allows for reduced sidecuts for more off trail performance
Rocker and KeyHole combine for better float and tracking
Full wood core and titanal make for Big Mountain Freeskiing/ freeride stability
Peak 98
Perhaps our most versatile ski, the 98 is engineered to spend half its life on groomed snow and hardpack and the other half off trail in boot deep snow. Two full sheets of metal and a wood core make it stable. KeyHole makes it maneuverable. Sounds burly. It isn’t.
Reduced metal and a lighter core for a surfier and slashier ride quality
Lighter weight build for touring and bootpacking
KeyHole Technology™ for extra edgehold on hardpack
Peak 98SC
Looking for a ski that’s a hundred grams lighter for inbounds hike-to terrain, short backcountry tours, or simply because you like less weight pulling on your knees on the chairlift? That’s the incredibly versatile Peak 98SC. It still features KeyHole, but here we shave weight for off trail skiing and lighter on piste skiers. We only make unisex skis for a reason, but in addition to the adventure set, women are loving this ski. It’s a little lighter and a little softer. It’s even more adept at slow-speed turning.
Peak’s most versatile ski for western snowpacks
Powder rocker and long taper means it’s tough to bury the 104
KeyHole Technology™ offer a loose ride until you need edging power
Peak 104
Skiing powder 24/7 is the dream. But sometimes hardpack is the reality. With the Peak 104, you won’t have to compromise. It’s floaty enough for the deepest of on-resort powder days, but when the forecast comes up short, you can carve turns on it too. That’s the beauty of KeyHole Technology™.
Reduced sidecut and KeyHole Technology let the 110 float above its dimensions
KeyHole means you can carve it between powder days
A lighter weight “powder core” keeps is surfy and nimble
Peak 110
The biggest days await you and your Peak 110s with KeyHole Technology™. It’s a quiver ski for most, but a daily driver in Deepville. Discover what it’s like to float AND carve.
Lighter weight build for touring, hiking, powder seeking
Underfoot metal for edging bite
Lighter weight “powder core” for pop and float
Peak 104SC
The 104SC floats and carves like the standard 104, but it’s a few hundred grams lighter for shouldering on the bootpack or gliding up the skintrack. Not that it’s a pure backcountry ski. It’s built for adventure skiing everywhere.
