Everybody has their favorite ski shop. It’s the place we know and trust to tune our skis for the new season and fit our boots for slipper-like comfort. We rely on our beloved shops all winter long for the latest and greatest gear advice, fixing up what we already have in our quiver and getting the lowdown on all things skiing. Because of that, we thought it was about damn time to give these ski shops the recognition they deserve.

To shine a light on the unsung heroes of our best ski seasons, we’ve nominated some of our favorite shops in North America for FREESKIER’s inaugural Top Shop Contest. Odds are, you’ve probably heard of a few on this list but we know there are plenty more that didn’t make it on here. Because of that, we’ve made it so you can vote for any of the shops already on our list, as well as nominate a shop you think deserves the fame and glory of being named FREESKIER’s Top Shop.

Voting starts today, Tuesday, November 20, and you can come back every day until 12PM MST on Thursday, December 13, to vote for the shop you feel deserves the highly-coveted bragging rights. At the end of the contest, we’ll be throwing a massive party in Breckenridge, Colorado, to celebrate shops everywhere. Get the word out, start voting and help your favorite shop win!
