TGR tells a lengthy and exciting story this year. After some quick opening action shots, the movie jumps into the history of Alaska and how heli skiing got its start in Valdez. Griffin Post and Todd Ligare revisit some classic first descents and show us why they are still revered to this day. The movie weaves between new and old footage with Seth, Sage and Dana bagging some lines of their own before you’re taken on a camping trip into the Alaskan backcountry. The varied soundtrack is upbeat and correlates well with the story line, which finishes off with Dash Long cutting his teeth on some Alaskan peaks.
