Backcountry skiing in National Parks is no new idea… but it’s not something you often see at Acadia National Park in Maine, the only National Park in New England.

Newly-released footage from the Ski The East crew features Ben Leoni and his buddy Ryan Gibbs (who shows up with a broken wrist) shredding said objective, and it’s a true marvel to watch. Leoni lets it rip through ample powder with views of the Atlantic Ocean and proves the East Coast has some seriously rad backcountry skiing to offer, even in unexpected places.
