Those that know of the “Jay Cloud,” which resides over Jay Peak Resort in northern Vermont, know that it’s no superstitious explanation of the weather. It’s real. The resort sits at the convergence of several different weather systems that all dump moisture over the mountains, ensuring that Jay averages over 350 inches of average annual snowfall. In the latest episode of Ski The East’s Spectral, Colby Vavolotis, Griffin Dunne, Dominic Castine and Carter Snow head to Jay for some pow obliteration.
