Photo Gallery: Drew Tabke and Christine Hargin win Chamonix stop of Freeride World Tour

On the 26th of January, skiers dropped into the north face of Chamonix’s Aiguille Pourrie. The day’s competition marked the third stop of the 2013 Swatch Freeride World Tour by The North Face. Amid fresh snow, beautiful weather and with Mont Blanc serving as a picturesque backdrop, Drew Tabke topped the men’s field, while Christine Hargin took top honors on the women’s side. Tabke and Hargin were crowned champions at the first stop of the 2013 Tour in Revelstoke, as well.

Tabke, of Crystal Mountain, Washington, ripped a fall line run, maintaining high speeds throughout. He also launched off a sizeable cliff while exiting the most technical section of the venue. Tabke sealed the deal with a lofty spin at the end of his run. Tabke is now the current leader of the overall men’s division of the Tour, heading into the fourth stop at Kirkwood, CA, slated for February 27.

Sweden’s Christine Hargin skied a fast run down the looker’s left side of the venue, with a nice air at the top of her run. For her efforts, Christine earned herself back-to-back FWT wins; she also currently leads the women’s overall division.
