Evolution Of Dreams – The Beginning, is the first installment in a two-year project from Eva Walkner and Jackie Paaso; Evolution of Dreams will be released, in full, in the fall of 2018. The saga tells the story of Walkner, Paaso and their love of skiing and the mountains. Walkner, who started as an alpine ski racer and Jackie, a mogul skier, are pursuing professional skiing careers that have been plagued by injuries and setbacks. The ladies at one point dreamed of Olympic gold, but those hopes were dashed, resulting in disappointment and resentment for skiing. In time, the Walkner and Paaso’s proverbial flames were rekindled via the sport of freeride skiing, a discipline in which the two ladies have excelled: Walkner has twice won the Freeride World Tour overall title and Paaso has come second at, and won, the most prestigious event of the Tour: the Verbier XTreme.
Walkner and Paaso say that in the full film, they’ll be accompanied by Frenchman and professional alpinist Marion Poitevin; together they’ll venture into terrain that is not particularly familiar to them to try and develop skills in the realm of ski mountaineering.
