Last season, the Seeking Nirvana series captivated our minds with its combination of character, amazing cinematography and incredible skiing. This season the team is back—with skiers Mike Henitiuk, Joe Schuster, Matt Margetts, Riley Leboe and Josh Bibby, cinematographers Jamie Tanner, Taylor Loughran and Dylan Ross and editor Leigh Powis—and if this first episode is proof of anything, it’s that they’re set to do it all again.
Titled The Tales Of Vienna, episode 2.1 takes place in the Pacific Northwest, just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia. Based out of a 36-foot long sail boat, the Vienna, the team explores the inlets of BC, skinning up the the mountains in search of secluded lines and amazing snow.
