As summer begins to wind down in the Northern Hemisphere, the folks down in Argentina continue to tear up the Andes. The latest footage from South America comes to us from SASS Global Travel in its first episode of the SUMMERized series. The brand new edit features rippers such as Michelle Parker, Garrett Russell, Piers Solomon and a few local legends. Check it out and be on the lookout as more episodes are released. S.C. Bariloche, Argentina – August 19th, 2014: Adventure travel company SASS Global Travel has released its first SUMMERized episode of season two, featuring skiers from SASS Argentina Session 1a and 1b as they capitalize on high alpine fresh lines throughout the Patagonian Andes.

The Southern Hemisphere provided the necessary winter weather for the first two sessions of the season. With less than desirable winter conditions elsewhere throughout the Andes, SASS utilized the amazing alpine terrain at Cerro Catedral in Bariloche, Argentina.

The crew started the summer shred with SASS’s avalanche awareness program and immediately took advantage of their new knowledge by pushing out into the backcountry. Guided by the likes of Michelle Parker, Garrett Russell, Piers Solomon and local legend Mauri Cambilla, this group of skiers got exactly what they were looking for when heading south for the summer.

The SUMMERized web series will continue with Episode 2.2 later this week. More episodes to come as Season 2 rolls along with backcountry booter sessions, big mountain lines and copious amounts of smiles to be documented.
