During much of Sam Smoothy’s youth, his dad would travel to the Andes to climb huge peaks and recount his tales to his family. Last winter, Smoothy and friends John Collinson and Fraser McDougall ventured to Bolivia to follow in his father’s footsteps, but with the intention of skiing many of the same peaks. The badass trip is documented in the recent short film presented by The North Face, Lost Gringos (featured above).
