Mad River Glen’s mantra is “ski it if you can,” and on a powder day, the terrain there can rival almost anywhere in the lower United States. The ski area is littered with steep chutes, tight glades, and cliffs, and has produced accomplished Freeride World Tour athletes Lars and Silas Chickering-Ayers, and the late Ryan Hawks. This past March skiers Noah Ranallo, Dylan Dipentima, and Carson Barbour played hooky from school and hit up MRG on a blower 16 to 19 inch powder day. Their day is showcased in the Meatheads’ latest episode in the “Neo” series.
