After premiering at The Meeting 9 this weekend in Aspen, Simon Dumont’s The Collection has just gone live to the world. The nearly 10-minute long retrospective highlights some of the best and worst moments of Dumont’s illustrious career. From the cubed pipe to the quarterpipe, to winning 10 X Games medals, we relive some of Dumont’s all-time highs. We see loads of banger shots from the backcountry to the streets, to private parks; they’re clips we’ve seen previously in films by Level 1 and Poor Boyz, and to see ’em all displayed together serves to remind us just how long Dumont has dedicated himself to the sport. The film also features a handful of nasty slams—some of the ultimate lows—including the infamous overshoot at Park City. Lastly, Dumont explains how his focus has shifted to Sochi. After so many years of pushing the bar higher, some Olympic hardware would certainly round out the trophy collection nicely.
