In episode six of season eight, the Salomon Freeski TV crew heads to Cortina d’Ampezzo in the Italian Dolomites. There, they ski deep powder and steep lines on what was a war zone between Italy and Austria during World War I. Kaj Zackrisson, Nico Vuignier and Mike Douglas explore the tunnels and mines built for use during the first World War, gaining a bit of a history lesson while getting after it on the subliminal slopes of the Dolomites.
