SFTV athletes unlock deep, powdery secrets of BC’s abandoned mining towns

British Columbia’s mountain towns were pulsing with gold in the 1800s, causing hordes of eager prospectors to flock to the mountain towns in search of their fortune. This past winter, Salomon Freeski TV sent Josh Daiek, Mike Henitiuk and Kieran Nikula to find their own bounty, in the form of deep, deep BC powder.

Freeskier senior contributing photographer Bryn Hughes shot and wrote a story highlighting his trip with Salomon Freeski TV that will be featured in our upcoming Photo Annual. To see a plethora of banger BC powder shots, get Freeskier magazine via the iTunes newsstand.
