There are certain formulas for ski films and short edits alike. While the freeski community has seen an explosion of creative cinematography over recent years, there are always projects that break the mold and make us smile. “Lunch Break” is one of those projects.
The short edit from MAAD Films and the Lettuces crew is exactly what we love about filmmaking in skiing. It’s original, funny, and, to put it simply, f*ckin’ sweet. Shot in a beautifully nostalgic, grainy tone and featuring some fast and furious turns on the Salomon Départ 1.0, it’s about time you step out for a lunch break.
